The restaurant itself is lovely. Cozy, romantic, and the friendliest family run restaurant I ever had the pleasure of eating in. Greeted by the owner, who immediately makes you feel relaxed and at ease. All the staff was prefect both cheerful and attentive.

From starters right through to desert was just mouth watering, and everything is bursting with flavors of fresh ingredients and all homemade. The pizzas are outstanding, the base if the best I have ever tasted. I can't recommend enough. Would even go so far as to say the Best pizza in Dublin. This is a real taste of Italian and Mediterranean food at very well reasonable prices, and something to suit ever budget. Once you have tasted the delicious food at La Strada, you will always go back.

Why do I keep coming back to La Strada?

Is it the excellent, freshly prepared food, with regular new interesting additions to the menu? Yes, but there's more to it than that.

Is it the prompt, professional service? That too, but there's something else, as well.

Is it the reasonably priced tariff? Yes again, but there's another, very important, factor about La Strada, something, which can be found lacking in some of the most exclusive and highly recommended restaurants in Ireland.

And that something is the welcome. The minute I step through the door of La Strada, I feel as though I'm at home. Mo or one of his staff will bound over to me and greet me by name, and then usher me to a table, where I will sit down and partake of a welcome hour or so's break from my labours (I am a shift worker) in the company of fine fare and comfortable surroundings, accompanied by a not-too-intrusive background of Caruso -- at least, I think it's Caruso. During the course of the evening, Mo or Adlan will always find time to have a few minutes' interesting chat with me, on subjects as diverse as motorcars, philosophy, or even algebra.

At the end of this sojourn, I feel relaxed, well fed, and, batteries recharged, able to resume my day's toil.

For me, La Strada ticks all the boxes -- it is, truly, a restaurant in a million

Good evening, we just returned to our hotel after a wonderful dinner at your restaurant after a long day shopping and touring in Dublin.

We have been in Dublin for a week on vacation from the states and visited your restaurant for the first time tonight. I want to complement you first on the delicious meal that we enjoyed, and secondly, on the wonderful service. Your son, Adlan, was our waiter, and he was very attentive, and a very warm and pleasant young man. He represents your restaurant efficiently and has a youthful eagerness to please along with being very efficient to the guest's needs.

The dishes you served us were just delicious and each course was made in such a way that you were anticipating the next delightful experience. The marinara sauce was as tasty as any my Sicilian Grandmother would make. The suggestions for the wine at our meal by your staff were just perfect as well.

As you can see by our last name, we are 100% Italian and couldn't have been happier at your restaurant, it was very wonderful in every way and very relaxing. We will definitely return when we visit La Strada again next year.

Best regards, and keep up the good work and wonderful food.
Sincerely,

Antonia Bambi and Catherine Scirica
